David Rice grew up in the church and military, living between the demands of faith and the expectations of service. He was a listless student until he was challenged to pursue academic excellence as an act of faithfulness to God. That lesson has never left him.
He spent five years in academic libraries before pursuing graduate work in theology and special education. He now works as a special education administrator in Missouri, drawn to the students who need the most (and often receive the least). He converted to the Catholic Church, Easter 2025, and is the father of three sons. His patron is St. Monica, who prayed for Augustine across decades of silence. He does the same for his boys.
He is pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Southwest Baptist University, and serves as a consultant to St. John Bosco Academy.ββββββββββββββ
